Your Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Whitson has an active Parent-Teacher Organization. This group assists the school in planning community and school events, coordinating volunteers to help in the school, providing teachers with financial assistance, and directing fundraisers.
Each
year the PTO elects new officers who plan the fundraising, social and
volunteer activities for the
year. PTO meets once a month, usually providing childcare during
meetings. Your expertise and energy
will be needed and welcome!
