Employment Opportunities

The White Salmon Valley School District has a long tradition of seeking the best person for any open position. Openings for certificated faculty positions are widely advertised and applications regularly arrive from throughout the western states. With every new opening, whether certificated or classified, comes an opportunity to improve our overall educational program, offering a possibility to restructure for more meaning, efficiency of effort, and effectiveness as it relates to children.

In addition to curriculum expertise and experience, applicants are considered with regard to high moral and ethical standards, enthusiasm for the profession, and desire to work with the entire community to make the district even stronger.

The district's current faculty reflects the district's commitment to building a strong teaching staff to implement its educationally sound curriculum. Our current faculty averages 15 years teaching experience, and over 80% hold master's degrees.

BUS DRIVERS NEEDED / FREE TRAINING

White Salmon Valley School District is accepting applications for school bus drivers. You must be able to pass the driver's physical and obtain or already possess a Commercial Driver's License. Previous experience is helpful but not necessary. Free training.
